Studio

In the house’s large old school hall are today the four recording rooms with large windows and a generous ceiling height of 3.5 meters, so it feels light and airy. Good opportunities to also get nice filmed live sessions here.
A lot of work has been put into the acoustics, but without spoiling the feel of the old house.

We want to invite inspiration as soon as you step into the studio. When a new group comes to Isby, it usually takes a few minutes at most before a beat is started and lovely arpeggios pour out from our synths.

One of the strengths is also the possibility to record everything live and get that nice energy in the foundation and maybe even the occasional nice ”happy accident” to build on.

There are windows between all rooms to get good visual contact.

Main room

This room is usually used as a recording room if you want slightly bigger acoustics and for songwriting sessions if the whole group wants to sit together and write music, but can also be used as a rehearsal room.

The three smaller rooms are used if you e.g. want to separate drums, guitars and vocals.

Drumroom

The drum room can be used for recording drums or for recording vocals, for example. The room can also be used for songwriters, then we usually set up a table that you can sit at instead of the drums.

From this room there are windows into the singing room, the large studio room and the guitar room. It is also through this room that you enter the studio apartment.

Guitarroom

This room works as a recording room or a writing station. If desired, we can set up a table here as well.

Has also been used as an extra bedroom if needed as an extra bed/mattress can be set up here. In this room there are windows so you can see into the drum room and out to the large studio room.

VocalBooth/Entrance

This room is the entrance to the studio, but also a separate recording room where it works fine to record e.g. vocals. All the recording rooms have a ceiling height of 3.5 m, which makes it feel more spacious.

From this room there are windows into the drum room and into the large studio room.
